The purpose of the Houston R-I School District is to empower individuals to meet their life goals. To accomplish this commitment it is necessary for students, staff, and community members to be collectively involved in ensuring the Houston R-I School District is an authentic learning environment. Our decisions, and our actions, are guided by an unceasing search for sustained excellence, to ensure our students develop into responsible and informed citizens.
