ATLAS (All Tigers Learn at School) Time: This will be a 31-minute period placed into the school day to assist students in their current academic work.  The goal of ATLAS Time is to set aside specific times throughout the school day that are dedicated to students study, student assistance, and student make up work.  To maintain adequate continuity for this process, students will be placed in the respective tiers based on their three-week grades.  Once a student is placed in one tier, they MUST stay in that tier until the end of the three-week session unless otherwise approved by the administration.  Student will be placed into three different tiers:

a.      Tier 1  Individual Practice.  This placement is for students who have As and Bs.  For enrichment purposes, each core department and each elective department will have one Individual Practice room at all times.  Students may also go to the cafeteria or gymnasium to work on schoolwork.

b.      Tier 2  Guided Practice.  This placement is for students who have Cs.  Each core department and each elective department will have a Guided Practice room at all times.  Students will have the opportunity to make up missed work and gain extra help in classes they are struggling in.

c.      Tier 3  Intense Guided Practice.  This placement is for students who have Ds and Fs.  Each core department and each elective department will have an Intense Guided Practice room at all times.  During this time, students will be given extra help and the opportunity to make up late work, study for tests, etc.
