Jim Bukowsky from Southern Missouri Investments of Houston, MO, spoke to students in Mandy Adey's 7th and 8th grade classes on the relevancy of math in every career. He talked about the importance of math and how it can benefit a person in every aspect of life and in career choices. He gave real life experiences about how math has affected his life, and career choices. He made a huge impact on students motivating them not to give up on their dreams, and to realize you can do what you want if you set your mind to it. He definitely made great connections with some students, and it was an honor having someone from our local community come and speak to the 7th and 8th graders.
