The 5/6 and 7/8 grades South Central District Honor Choir event was held at Evangel University in Springfield on Saturday, February 4th. There were 35 - 7/8 grade schools and 41 - 5/6 grade schools that were represented with a total of 670 students. The 5/6 grade choir was directed by Greg Gilpin who also composed most of their music. It was exciting for the students to meet a living composer.
