WHAT'S NEW 

 Envirothon students advancing to state competition need to meet Monday, March 23 during ATLAS in Mrs. R. Wilson's room.

All volleyball player for next year need to meet in the HS gym during ATLAS tomorrow to meet with Coach Wheeler.  

REMINDERS

Deadline to purchase a prom ticket is March 27th.

Prom Committee meeting on Friday, March 20, 3:30 pm in the vocational building.

All Community Betterment members should bring a large bag of candy to help fill Easter eggs. Turn in your candy by Monday, March 23rd.

Internship students need to turn in their logs.  A lot have not been turned in and grades are being entered this week.

Prom tickets will be on sale at lunchtime, in the lobby until March 27th.  Prom will be held at the River Centre in Van Buren, MO, on Saturday, April 11th.  Prom tickets will go on sale during lunch next Monday, March 16th.  Prices are $20 for seniors, $30 for underclassmen and out-of-school dates, and $40 for juniors.  ALL fines/fees must be paid before you can purchase a prom ticket  (that includes class dues).

There will be a Hunter Safety class on Saturday, March 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church.   Register online at http://my.register-ed.com.

Sign-ups for Class officers will be March 23 - March 27 in Ms. Welch's room.

Seniors - If you plan on attending the senior trip to Silver Dollar City please sign up with Lisa in the Guidance office.  You must pay a $10.00 deposit the day that you sign up. You must sign up by Monday, March 23rd.  

MoETs that was scheduled for March 4th, has been rescheduled for March 27th.  For those who have signed up, please make sure your permission slips are returned to the Guidance Office and all fines/fees have been paid prior to the trip.

It's yearbook time again!  If you would like to order a 2014-2015 yearbook pick up the forms in front of the High School office. 

Prom will be held at the River Centre in Van Buren, MO, on Saturday, April 11th.  Prom tickets will go on sale during lunch next Monday, March 16th.  Prices are $20 for seniors, $30 for underclassmen and out-of-school dates, and $40 for juniors.  ALL fines/fees must be paid before you can purchase a prom ticket  (that includes class dues).

March 24:   Boys State Representative will be here.  If you are a junior boy interested in attending Boys State this summer, sign up at the Guidance Office.

March 23- The Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship for female's going into the teaching field has been extended to Friday, March 20 at 3:00 p.m.

March 26- A representative from College of the Ozarks will be here.  Sign up at the Guidance Office to visit with them.

March 31 - The Missouri State Teachers Foundation is proudly sponsoring the Kent King Educator Scholarship.  Applicants must be enrolled as a full time student in preparation for the teaching  profession.  Applications can be picked up at the Guidance Office.  Deadline is March 31, 2015.

March 31 -  Texas County Soil and Water Conservation District are offering two $250 scholarships for a graduating senior who will be entering the 2015 fall semester in a State College, Technical College  or a Trade School AND seeking a degree in the following fields of study:  Natural Resources, Agriculture, Science and Engineering.  Deadline is March 31, 2015.

March 31 - Mercy Health Foundations-Lebanon is accepting applications for the Heritage in Health Scholarship Fund for students who will be pursuing an education in the medical field.  Applications  may be picked up at the Guidance Office.  Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2015.

April 13 8:30 MSU-West Plains will be here for placement testing.  Students interested in dual credit College Algebra or dual credit English need to sign up at the guidance office by April 8th so we  have enough tests available.

April 15 -  Texas County Technical College Scholarship Program will award two scholarships of $500 each to a high school senior interested in attending Texas County Technical College.  Applications  can be picked up at the guidance office.  Deadline is April 15, 2015.

$500 Scholarship for the Machinist Local 2782 available at the Guidance Office.  Must be post-marked by April 15.

The State Farm Companies Foundation believes all children deserve an education that helps them reach their potential and prepares them for life. The State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship Program was established to provide financial assistance to fifty high school seniors who plan to attend college, technical, or vocational school, but may not be able to meet the expenses of a higher education without such aid and often do not qualify for other scholarships.

March 16 - $2000 Scholarship from MFA Foundation.  It may be used at any college of your choice and for any course of study you desire.  Applications available at the Guidance Office.  Deadline to  submit to the Guidance Office is 3:00 pm March 16, 2015.

March 31 -  Mid Missouri Credit Union will be awarding eight-$1000 Marion Dale Summerford Memorial Scholarships to graduating high school seniors.  Applications can be picked up at the guidance  office or found at Mid Missouri Credit Union.  Applicants must be a member of the Credit Union.  If a student does not have an account through the credit union, they can open one and then  apply for the scholarship.  Deadline is March 31, 2015.
