District Objectives

  • CSIP Objectives 2018-2021

    A. Student Performance: Develop and enhance quality educational/instructional programs to improve performance and enable students to meet their personal, academic, and career goals.

    1. By the end of the 2020 school year, student performance (including subgroups) on MAP, EOC, and College & Career Readiness will show growth toward APR standards with at least 85% of points.

    2. By 2020, all students in grades K-12 will read at or above grade level targets or meet established growth standards in fluency and comprehension as measured by a commonly administered scientifically-based reading assessment.

    3. By 2020, all students in grades K-12 will perform at or above grade level targets or meet established growth standards in the areas of math concepts/applications as measured by a commonly administered scientifically-based math assessment.

    4. At least 90% of students will be in attendance 90% of the time in each grade level.

    5. The District will develop procedures to encourage 98% of staff to be in attendance 98% of the time.

    B. Highly Qualified Staff: Recruit, attract, develop, and retain highly qualified staff to carry out the district’s mission, goals, and objectives.

    1. 100% of teachers will be certified in the area they teach.

    2. Procedures for hiring certified staff and expectations of progress made during the 1st year with full certification by the 2nd year.

    3. 100% of teachers will participate in high quality professional development that will positively impact student learning.

    4. The district will implement procedures to attract and retain teachers such as competitive salaries, training from within, and a positive school climate.

    C. Facilities, Support, and Instructional Resources: Provide and maintain appropriate instructional resources, support services, and functional and safe facilities.

    1. By 2020, the district will increase access to technology and other instructional resources for teachers and students by identifying and allocating funds for technology. A technology committee will produce a plan each year with current and long range planning.

    2. The district will have completed a viable K-12 curriculum, aligned vertically and horizontally, that matches the Missouri Learning Standards and is updated continually.

    D. Increase Parent and Community Involvement: Promote, facilitate, and enhance parent, student and community involvement in district educational programs.

    1. A minimum of three parental involvement academic activities will be offered to parents at each grade level (K-12).

    2. District will provide opportunities for community involvement.
