This afternoon Missouri Governor Mike Parson directed all public schools to close buildings for the remainder of the academic year. Also emphasized is the continuation of meal handouts and continued learning opportunities for Missouri students.
Meals will continue for Houston students for the remainder of the academic year.
Meal handouts will occur next week on Tuesday 4/14 from 10:00-12:00. On Monday 4/20 we will return to our regular Monday pickup day from 10:00-12:00.
Learning Packets - will be available by the elementary gymnasium just before the meal pickup.
Elementary packets - for those that could not pick them up this week
Middle school packets will be ready.
While this order answers some questions, we still have more to determine as we go forward. We will announce further updates as soon as we are able.
We are looking to hold some type of graduation, however plans for that still need to be developed if possible.
Thank you parents, community, teachers, and staff for all of your patience in this process. You have been great through these difficult and unique circumstances.
