Do you have a career that involves a vehicle with wheels? We're seeking community partners to be part of our Elementary's second annual 🛞 Careers On Wheels 🛞 day from 9-11 a.m. October 13.
Come show off your vehicle - whether it be a tractor 🚜 plane ✈️ big rig 🚛 or anything in between - and share it with our students. To participate or for more information, contact Maggie Moore at mmoore@houston.k12.mo.us.
'Careers On Wheels' is an exciting opportunity for our students to see various professions up close and personal. The purpose of the event is to help our students think about the possibilities of their future and incite interest in a specific career that they may not have considered before.
"I want to expose our students to different career paths as they begin thinking of a career that may interest them," said Moore, elementary counselor. "My hope is that they gain exposure and become inquisitive about different careers. This will be a fun way to explore!"
