Houston High School students had an incredibly successful showing Feb. 7 at the Academic Challenge at East Central College. The team, coached by Mrs. Crystal Ford, will compete again March 6. Here are Houston's individual results:
Kendal Johnson - 1st in English and tied for 1st in Math
Miah Bressie - 1st in Physics and 1st in Biology
Kristen Ely - Tie for 1st in Chemistry and tie for 1st in Math
Anna Gale - 3rd in English
Gracyn McNiell - Tied for 1st in Chemistry and 3rd in Math
Addison Cook - Tied for 1st in Chemistry
Aiden Kelly - 3rd in Biology and Engineering Graphics
Brody Adkison - Tied for 1st in Computer Science and 2nd in Physics
Jason Weese - 2nd in Engineering Graphics
