Is your student up-to-date with their π«πππππ£ππ¨? Although summer break just began, now is a good time to check. It is the policy of the Houston R-1 School District and a Missouri State Law that all students attending district schools shall be immunized in accordance with law against vaccine-preventable diseases. The following information is courtesy the Texas County Health Department:
ππππΏππππΌππππ ππ ππππ 4 πππΌππ ππ πΌππ are required to have:
π΄ 2 MMR - Measles, Mumps and Rubella
π΄ 2 Varicella-Chicken Pox
π΄ 4 doses of DTAP with at least 1 dose given after their 4th birthday
π΄ 3 doses of polio with at least 1 dose given after their 4th birthday
π΄ 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine
(Most 4-5 year old children will need the MMR, Varicella and a DTAP with IPV before school starts)
ππππππ πππΌπΏπππ are required to have:
π΄ 1 TDAP
π΄ 1 MCV
πππππππ are required to have:
π΄ 1 MCV
Medical and religious exemptions are available and must be updated yearly. They are available at the school district as well as the county health department.
