Weβre launching a new focus on improving student attendance, because while work can be made up, valuable instruction time cannot.
Attendance Goal:
We want every student to be present at least 90% of the time β meaning no more than 10% absences for the school year.
This may impact student eligibility:
High School:
β’ A+ requires 95% attendance through graduation
β’ 90% attendance required for prom
Middle School:
β’ Attendance may affect promotion
Elementary:
β’ Attendance may affect promotion
If a studentβs absence rate goes above 10%, we will reach out to offer support and guidance.
