Eric Sloan has officially earned his School Safety Specialist certification after attending the Missouri School Boardsβ Associationβs School Safety Academy held November 11β13 in Columbia.
The academy provided comprehensive training focused on creating safe, supportive learning environments for students and staff. Sessions covered behavior support systems, legal issues, trauma-informed practices, de-escalation, emergency preparedness, threat assessments, cybersecurity, and more.
This certification strengthens our districtβs commitment to maintaining a safe school environment where students can focus on learning.
