Mr. Vandiver was previously recognized as Houston High School Teacher of the Year and has now been selected to represent the entire district. His leadership and dedication have helped build the high school welding program into one of the most respected and sought-after programs in the area, preparing students with valuable skills and real-world experience.

Mr. Vandiver has built the high schoolβs welding program from the ground up into one of the most respected and sought-after programs in the area. Through his commitment to hands-on learning and high expectations, students leave his program with valuable technical skills, strong work ethic, and preparation for success in the workforce.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Vandiver is a valued member of the High School Building Leadership Team and works collaboratively with colleagues and community partners to expand real-world learning opportunities for students.
