Congratulations to HHS seniors Aiden Kelly and Lilly Scheliga, who are the recipients of the 2024 Houston Education Foundation scholarships. Both received a scholarship for $2,000 for their first year of college. #HoustonFutureReady

Houston R-1 FFA senior Tres Warner received his State Degree this past week at the 2024 State Convention in Columbia. The State FFA Degree is awarded by State Associations and is open to members in 11th grade or higher who are involved in chapter leadership, state–level activities and community service, and who complete a set number of hours of instruction and SAE growth and productivity. HHS Speech and Debate program inducted three students - Lee Skaggs, Krystalyn Haider and Robby Eastman - into the National Speech and Debate Honor Society, the National Forensic League. Each student all earned merit degrees for their participation in the 2023-24 speech season. #TheBestWillBe

HHS Girls 🐯👟 win the Howell County Invitational, highlighted by freshman Adyson Dailing setting a new school record in the 300-meter hurdles in 50.53. On the boys side, the Tigers finished second. Way to go! #TheTigerWay
