INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS 🐯 Seventh graders in Mrs. Olivia Poynter's science class explored heat transfer 🔥 through convection, conduction, and radiation. Frying eggs 🍳 in a heated pan vividly illustrated conduction as the hot plate heated up the pan, which then heated the egg and cooked it. The air fryer provided a tasty demonstration of convection as the cookie dough directly interacted with the hot air. Lighting a candle showcased radiation, with heat energy emitted in the form of electromagnetic waves. The students really enjoyed the lesson! #HoustonFutureReady
