As part of our ongoing safety measures on campus, an unannounced drug dog search was conducted today by local law enforcement in the hallways and areas outside the classrooms. No arrests were made as a result of the search. Drug dog searches will continue to be part of our routine safety measures.
A special thank you to Officer Adam Stevenson of the Houston, Missouri Police Department and K-9 Omen for assisting our district today as we continue to prioritize students safety.

INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS 🐯 Ms. Sheila Campbell's preschool class at the Early Childhood Center has begun a unit of fairy tales. This week's story is Three Little Pigs. Ms. Campbell said students are having fun retelling the story using the flannel board.

INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS 🐯 Before the holiday break, students in Mr. George Snelling's Business Entrepreneurship class made cookies for the Sheltered Opportunities Workshop in Houston as well as the administrative team on campus. The high school students purchased, baked and prepared more than 200 Neiman Marcus cookies.

INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS 🐯 Our high school World History classes, under the instruction of Ms. Erin Johnston, opened the second semester discussing SMART goals and resolutions. They considered what makes goals obtainable and how we can be held accountable for goals that we set. Students then summarized their goals with a power word that they posted to help remind them of what they're working towards.

The first #ThemeThursday of 2023 is here! Middle schoolers are encouraged to join the school spirit each Thursday by dressing up to that week's theme. The first one is pajamas!
