We are hosting a Parent Information Night on Feb. 27 to share more about the partnership and how it will assist our students. There are two meetings: 5:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria for families of K-5 students and 6:15 p.m. in the MS/HS cafeteria for families of 6-12 students.

How many people can say they have a photo with the governor⁉️ Members of Houston R-1 FFA were part of “Drive your Tractor to Work Day” on Thursday as part of National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week. Missouri high schools brought hundreds of FFA students to the Capitol to greet Gov. Parson as he made his way up the circle drive. The students then went into the Capitol building for their Careers in Agriculture Day.
Our students got a first-hand look at vintage and new tractors as well as the opportunity to meet up with some of their Summersville FFA friends. A few HHS FFA members got interviewed for the Missouri FFA page!

🔔 Eighth grade families - A reminder this important meeting about high school scheduling, dual credit, programs and more is tonight. Attendees are asked to bring their Chromebooks.
The meeting will be held in Mr. Rory Davis' middle school classroom (upstairs next to the library). There will be a Q&A time with Ms. Volk and Mr. Rawlings as well as the opportunity to view and sign off on your student's ICAP (i.e., 4-year plan). We look forward to seeing you there.

The coaches and athletes of the Houston Special Olympics Team 🐯 were honored last night by the Board of Education as they compete in the program's inaugural season. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and spirit of this group!

The Missouri Ozarks Community Health Dental Bus 🚌🦷 will be on campus at the end of the month to provide diagnostic and preventive services for students. They include, but are not limited to, screenings, exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants. Further treatments requiring consent forms could include fillings, crowns, extractions and space maintainers.
Medicaid and MoHealthnet are accepted. There is also a sliding fee program for children without insurance.
