As we gear up for another exciting season of Houston Tiger athletics, we want to remind all spectators of a few important guidelines to help us create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone!
🔴 Students 6th grade & under must be accompanied by an adult (older siblings do not count). These students should remain in designated seating or with family.
🔴 No tobacco, vaping, drugs, alcohol, or weapons are allowed on school grounds.
🔴 Once students leave the stadium or gym, they cannot reenter.
🔴 Show positive sportsmanship at all times – it’s a Tiger tradition and an MSHSAA expectation!
🔴 Inappropriate language, behavior, signs, or gestures will not be tolerated.
🔴 All spectators should remain in the stands until the final team huddle concludes.
Let’s work together to ensure Houston events are fun, safe, and full of Tiger Pride!

Emergency special board meeting agenda


Houston Schools will observe dead weeks June 28 - July 6 as well as August 2-10. All sporting practices, workouts and activities will cease during these times.


Introducing the next leader of Houston R-1 Bands... Mrs. Rebecca Peterson 🎉🎉🎉
Our current band director, Mr. Van Dielen, was excited to announce his successor during last night's spring band concert. Mrs. Peterson is the founder of the incredibly successful Stars Foundation and has a long career in music, including teaching K-12 in public schools, teaching piano lessons, writing and arranging music, and producing and directing 65 broadway musicals.
We wish Mr. Van Dielen all the best and thank him for successfully leading our band program the last five years. And we welcome Mrs. Peterson to Houston Schools!
