RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS π―β€οΈπ€ Third graders in Ms. Jaden Beasley's classroom created cards for Houston House nursing home. They talked about how these cards would encourage those that lived there. Ms. Beasley, who will deliver them to the residents, shared how the facility is near and dear to her heart as her great-grandmother was a resident there for more than 10 years.

INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS π― Mrs. Olivia Poynterβs sixth grade science classes participated in a small experiment that demonstrated heat transfer from the Earth's core. The hot plate represented Earth and the beaker with water represented the Earth. The "chemical," which is just food dye in this case, was a great way to show students how heat is transferred, slowly, from the core upwards.
