INSIDE OUR CLASSROOMS 🐯 Seventh graders in Mrs. Olivia Poynter's science class explored heat transfer 🔥 through convection, conduction, and radiation. Frying eggs 🍳 in a heated pan vividly illustrated conduction as the hot plate heated up the pan, which then heated the egg and cooked it. The air fryer provided a tasty demonstration of convection as the cookie dough directly interacted with the hot air. Lighting a candle showcased radiation, with heat energy emitted in the form of electromagnetic waves. The students really enjoyed the lesson!

The 2024 Hoop Queen Dance is a ❄️ SNOW BALL ❄️ on Saturday, Jan. 13. Admission is free for all HHS students for this "student appreciation" event hosted by the HHS Student Council. It will be held inside the city's storm shelter.
The Hoop Queen 🏀👑 will be crowned the previous evening (Jan. 12) as HHS Basketball hosts Salem.
