The students had so much fun working together as a team, and they built some great traps together!

The first speech meet of the year was also the first of the careers for these HHS students as they traveled to Nevada, Mo. Although no one placed, Coach Eric Johnston said they had a great time and learned valuable ways to improve their performances for the next meet, which will be next weekend at Marion C. Early. We are proud of them for stepping out of their comfort zones and representing HHS!

We're excited to announce the first-ever HHS Deer Season Showcase 🦌 from Nov. 13 through Nov. 17. High school students are encouraged to bring us a photo of their deer kill, signed and dated by a parent, to be placed on a bulletin board display. All students who submit a photo and have perfect attendance (including no late check-ins) the week of firearms season will be entered into a drawing for a $40 gift card donated by In Season Sports & Outdoors.
Good luck to all our hunters! Be safe this weekend and don't forget to bring us that signed and dated photo of your deer.
