Damien and Tucker are part of HMS's Fiction Fanatics after-school club sponsored by Mrs. Kathy Bradshaw. The group was tasked with writing a mini saga (a story told in up to 100 words) on the theme of "hunted." Students could choose to be the hunter or the hunted for this contest, which was organized in conjunction with middle and high schools across the nation as a way to encourage children and young adults to read, write, and enjoy creative writing.
